Meet the Founder

I'm Jalynn Holmes, and I was a Division 1 student-athlete for six years. I earned my bachelor's degree from Norfolk State University in 2021 and my master's degree in Media and Communication from Temple University in 2023.

Throughout my basketball career, my go-to styles were wigs, sew-ins, and slicked-back ponytails with extensions, all to protect my natural hair. Over time, I spent thousands of dollars on extensions that turned out dry, stiff, and tangled.

In 2019, during my redshirt year, I began my search for the best, most reliable hair extensions on the market. Through extensive research into different hair types and textures, I discovered the purest, most natural option available: raw hair extensions.

Raw hair is unprocessed, 100% human hair that has never undergone any chemical, heat, or steam treatment. It's sourced directly from donors and put through a rigorous sanitizing process. Because the cuticles remain intact and aligned, my hair stays exceptionally soft and smooth.

After testing raw hair from a range of vendors and installing it myself, I finally found the perfect sources. I'm fully confident in every extension The Classic Collection offers, and I'm always researching and refining my craft as the brand grows.
